Piano

Concerto

#2

in

A-Major

First

Movement

by:

Azo
This

is

another

old

piano

concerto,

with

most

of

the

themes

dating

back

to
1992.

While

the

entire

score

is

still

in

shambles,

and

nowhere

near
playable

in

its

current

state,

I

still

count

this

in

my

accomplished

works
list,

as

the

sheer

size

of

it

is

enough

to

eat

up

half

an

hour

with

ease.

This

movement

is

the

introductory

movement,

at

about

seven

minutes

long.
It

clearly

introduces

the

melodies

that

will

be

carried

throughout

the
concerto,

displaying

them

simply

and

clearly.

The

following

four
movements

are

all

interpretations

of

these

themes,

with

several

new

and
exciting

elements.

Maybe

sometime

in

the

near

future

I'll

come

up

with

the
time

and

energy

to

actually

track

those

as

well.
It's

certainly

not

my

best,

but

it

was

an

early

work.

I

mean,

I

was

only
14

when

I

wrote

a

lot

of

this.

I

continued

working

on

it

until

I

was
about

17,

and

then

let

the

project

go.

It's

as

close

to

completion

as
it'll

probably

ever

get.
